Nina Hofmann Küppers

Over the years, I’ve had the honour of representing Sweden on the national team – from pony level all the way up to senior. I competed in the World Cup Final already in 2011 and was a candidate for the 2012 Olympics. It’s easy to list competitive successes, but my true personal achievement is getting to work with the animals I love – and to educate them from young horses all the way to Grand Prix. That journey is absolutely indescribable. A particularly emotional moment was being there when my mare Shorena gave birth to her second foal, San Rebell, right here on our farm.

"Ellen has an impressive list of achievements. She has competed in 17 Swedish Championships with eight medals, four Nordic Championships with six medals, and earned a team bronze at the European Championships for Young Riders. In 2022, she was awarded the prestigious Ajax Scholarship. She trained her U25 horse Sonnenkönigin all the way from novice level to Grand Prix."

"Emma actively competes in obedience at the highest level and has had the honour of representing Sweden as part of the national obedience team. As a dedicated breeder of border collies, she’s passionate about preserving and developing the breed’s working qualities. That’s also why she enjoys competing in herding – staying true to the breed’s origins and instinctive abilities."

He rides 12–14 horses every day, is sensitive to the cold, but hasn’t felt chilly since spring 2020. That was when André Brandt became a team rider for Uhip.

Meet our ambassador, Josefine Eliasson

It was at a local riding school in Kungsbacka that Josefine Eliasson jumped on horseback for the first time, aged just 6. She remained at that riding school throughout her childhood. Now, many years later, she lives half the year in Brussels, Belgium and the other half of the year in Wellington, Florida, USA, working as a groom for top rider Jessica Springsteen. Below, Josefine tells us in her own words how she got to where she is today and what her life is like.
