Tell us a little about yourself – who is Lina?

I run my business from our family farm in Sparreholm and work as a dressage rider. I competed on the national team during my youth years, but today I’ve truly fallen in love with the wonderful world of young horses. I’m passionate about training and developing young talents and feel incredibly fortunate to have turned it into my profession.

How did your journey in equestrian sport begin?

My older sisters already had horses when I was born, and they were quick to put me in the saddle. The early years were filled with fun, games, and a lot of joy around the horses — something I’m very grateful for today.

What does a typical day look like for you, and what motivates you in your current journey?

On a typical day, I ride around 8–10 horses, and once I’m finished in the saddle, I coach many students as well. Right now, what drives me most is training and riding talented young horses that give that real wow feeling.

Is there an achievement you are especially proud of?

There are many, but my U25 years together with Biggles and Languedoc are memories I often look back on with great joy.

Personal & Mindset

How do you handle setbacks?

I have a strong work ethic and usually keep working straight after a setback — that often helps turn things around. At home, we have a quote we often say: “The more I train, the better I become than I think.”

What motivates you on the tough days?

I think it’s important to allow yourself to break down sometimes and not be afraid of feeling challenged. But above all, I believe it’s important to listen to what you truly want.

Do you have a dream goal you would love to achieve?

To continue developing my company, Dolk Dressage, in the right direction and feel that I can build my life exactly the way I want — always with the horses’ best interests in mind.

What do you do when you’re not riding?

I love spending time with family and friends.

Who inspires you?

Very many people close to me.

What made you want to become one of our team riders?

Ever since Uhip started in 2010, I’ve always had pieces in my wardrobe that have been clear favourites.

What do functional riding clothes mean to you in your everyday life?

Everything. They need to be comfortable, stylish, and functional. Since I spend all my waking hours in riding clothes, it’s very important to me that they don’t affect my everyday life through discomfort or poor quality.

What is important to you when it comes to riding apparel during spring and summer?

That the garments are breathable and can handle frequent washing, since I ride many horses every day and work up quite a sweat.

What can we expect to see from you going forward?

I try to share an unfiltered glimpse of my everyday life, and I hope you’ll want to follow along.

Anything you’d like to say to the community following you?

I think this is going to be an exciting journey, and I hope you’ll join me along the way.
