What is Zip Pants and why are they so popular?
Zip Pants, or functional pants with two way zipper, are overpants with long zippers along the legs, making them easy to put on and take off, even with shoes or riding boots. They act as a protective layer when the weather changes and are perfect in the stable over riding tights during mucking out, turnout, or between riding sessions when your body quickly gets cold. At the same time, they are equally useful for outdoor dog training, walks especially when alternating between active movement and standing still. Rainy Zip Pants are a technical shell pant and rain pant with high weather protection, designed for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors – all year round. Despite their waterproof properties, Rainy offers high breathability, making them comfortable even during physical activity and long days outside.

Windproof: Yes, 3-layer polyester with TPU membrane
Warmth: Uninsulated – layer underneath as needed

Woolblend Stella Zip Pants are a warmer version of our functional pants, designed for those who prioritize warmth and comfort in colder conditions. The material combines durable polyamide on the outside with temperature-regulating wool on the inside, creating a comfortable microclimate even when standing still.

Woolblend Stella Zip Pants are the perfect garment to quickly throw on between riding sessions when your body cools down, or for activities such as dog training and cold-weather walks. The pants can be worn on their own in milder weather, but work best layered over tights or base layers, taking full advantage of the zip function. As functional pants, the Woolblend Stella Zip Pants also feature smart pockets: two open hand pockets and two zippered leg pockets, one of which includes small inner compartments for extra storage.
